Brookhaven is a historic neighborhood, part of which lies in Atlanta’s Buckhead Community, part of which lies in Sandy Springs, Georgia, and part of which lies in the city of Brookhaven, Georgia, to which it lends its name. The area was first settled in the early 1800s and grew popular in the early 1900s when Atlanta residents began constructing summer cottages in the area.

Brookhaven includes many neighborhoods and commercial districts, such as Historic Brookhaven, Brookhaven Village, Lynwood Park, Ashford Park, Murphy Candler Park, Town Brookhaven, North Brookhaven and more. Residents love the charming variety of real estate, a vibrant restaurant and shopping scene, dozens of parks, and close proximity to Buckhead and other parts of the metro area.
