Cabbagetown

Fulton County | 30312

Just south of Inman Park and west of Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown is one of Atlanta’s funkiest and most historic neighborhoods. The community was originally built for the workers of the South’s first textile processing mill at the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill established in 1881, now the home of the highly desirable Cotton Mill Lofts. Composed of a variety of charming bungalow and shotgun style homes, neighbors flock to streets to enjoy festivals such as the Chomp N’ Stomp Chili Cookoff and Bluegrass Festival and the annual street art event called Forward Warrior.

Art lovers will enjoy the murals along Wylie and in the Krog Street Tunnel. Little’s Food Store, Carol Street Cafe, 97 Estoria, Agave, Petit Chou, Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Supremo Taco, and Mi Barrio are among some of the delectable eats within walking distance of this lovely community. Neighbors also enjoy the community’s greenspaces, Cabbagetown Park and Esther Peachy Lefevre Park, and easy access to Oakland Cemetery and the BeltLine just beyond DeKalb Avenue.
