This Craftsman bungalow in Westview, dating to 1930, occupies a corner lot on what looks like a former streetcar route near Westview Cemetery, a few blocks from Interstate 20 and minutes from downtown. Relative to eastside neighborhoods, the $150,000 price tag is a bargain, and on the surface, it doesn't appear to want for anything essential; with 1,431 square feet, it's comparable to a larger intown condo, but with three bedrooms , three updated bathrooms and a kitchen featuring shaker cabinets and that rare/unheard-of waterfall of butcher block. The property sold for $87,000 just six months ago, and while it may have been upgraded since, the price disparity could give an indication where the neighborhood is going. * Re-posted from Atlanta Curbed.
