Homestead Real Estate Consultants is a proud sponsor of the 21st Annual Virginia Highland Tour of Homes! Enjoy a festive 2-day event of beautiful architecture and interior design in one of Atlanta’s most charming neighborhoods. Known for its historic residences, unique shops and fabulous local restaurants, the Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes is the perfect way to spend the day and spread holiday cheer!
Six beautiful properties will be featured on this year’s tour. Although different in style and design, they are all equally representative of the Neighborhood’s character. This year’s lineup includes a custom, modern version of Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie style construction, a quintessential and beautifully renovated 1929 bungalow that retains many of its original features, a charming 1922 bungalow that is set among beautiful gardens on one of the neighborhood’s two remaining brick paved streets, and three other fabulous homes consisting of both historic homes transformed for the modern world as well as new construction.
Local restaurants will provide food tastings at each of the Tour homes. These restaurants include local favorites, such as Murphy’s, Highland Tap, Atkins Park, The Cook’s Warehouse, El Taco, Fontaine’s, San Francisco Coffee Roasting Co., Savi Provisions, and Marlow’s Tavern.
The VHCA is a non-profit organization supported exclusively through volunteers and fundraising events like the Tour of Homes whose mission is to improve the quality of life in the community. The funds raised by the VaHi Tour of Homes will go to support various projects around Virginia Highland including neighborhood park improvements, safety, sidewalk and traffic concerns, planning and preservation, and other community efforts.
