The MLPA Parks Committee is pleased to announce another collaboration with Haygood UMC Pack 17 Cub Scouts and Trees Atlanta. We will work together to plant over 150 new trees in Morningside Lenox Park and Virginia-Highland. The Morningside location will be at Sidney Marcus Park on the Cumberland Road side. The other 2 locations are neaby at Orme Park and John Howell Park. If you have noticed a big pile of mulch at Sidney Marcus Park, that means we are also going to be able to mulch all of the trees in Sidney Marcus Park which desperately need it. We have tools, but need the hearts to carry out the planting and mulching.
Please consider giving a small amount of your time to help us plant and mulch. Saturday, November 14, 9 to 11 am Sidney Marcus, Orme or John Howell Parks SIGN UP HERE
